It's still very loud, and would feel slow giving up nearly 200hp. The only one I would want is the SC V8 after diving each extensivly. They limit the options and interior color choices on the V6 models. I've tried the manual. I'd get the auto any day since the mech needs some work and the auto is much faster shifting and accelerating(better gearing). Plus I have a wife that needs to drive it occasionally. She drove my TT with a manual, but hasn't touched the other two manual cars I've had since then. I will not have a car we both won't drive. A DSG like what is in the Infinity is fine and the auto on the Z06 was almost 4 seconds faster around Willow Springs than the manual with Randy Prost driving (not like I'm even marginally as capable as he is).

I think it sounds fantastic, but I'm not my wife. The problem is on the way to our house from the two main roads are these almost tunnel like over passes. Even in quiet mode it makes her jump when we go through. She almost threw her cell phone out of the car the one time.

The exhaust in the z06 is very noisy....
According to Edmunds, its louder than the F-Type, even at idle.

I've been watching the Jeeves and Wooster series. Some very interesting cars throughout.
Does anyone know exactly what Bertie is driving?
I'm inclined to think it's an Aston Martin, but I'm not sure. I'm not very familiar with British cars of that era.

This one?
A pre-war Aston Martin.
That is the one!
Thanks, I'll see if I can track down the model. I couldn't imagine there would be too many. My guess would be between 1928 and 1932.
I kept trying to get a view of radiator marquee, but never had a clear view. It looked like two separate rings, one each side of center, not at all like the Aston wing badge I've always seen.

According to this, it's a 1928 Aston Martin 1 1/2 Liter International.
