The Coutinho substitution ceded the initiative to Bournemouth and the inevitable happened. Should have brought Sturridge in for Coutinho instead of Matip; going to a back five invited pressure our defense is not capable of handling.

Klopp has got to figure out how to grind out results against the bottom half of the table if Liverpool is going to challenge for the league title. I see Mane is confirmed out for the season. Makes those two dropped points from Wednesday even more problematic.

Yeah, not having Mane for the rest of the season is going to be tough. I'm not looking forward to the Stoke match. Coutinho ruled out with illness still.

No Lallana, no Mane, no Coutinho, no Henderson. It'll be interesting to see the starting eleven. I have to imagine Sturridge will be in it. Either that, or include Moreno in the midfield 3 and have Wijnaldum play on the left wing.

It was an interesting starting eleven.

    That Firmino strike....

No gifs or videos of it yet, but here's an artist's depiction:

Also, I'm glad I saw the player, but I wish I had been able to see the dance. I long to see this again:

I expected a sound beating for Watford at Spurs. We'd struggle at full strength, never mind with suspensions, injury and illness.

Wow. Now how long must Wenger wait to announce his new contract and rebuilding plans? Seemingly no leadership at all anywhere in the club, aside from perhaps Koscielny. Sanchez and Ozil don't care anymore.
