Or different, or everything at once.

You have a turbo 4 now? Why not add some mods? Intake, exhaust, tune should give a nice boost.

I do. That is an option I am considering, much to Alan's dismay, I'm sure.

Think of the HUGE benefits of a turbo engine against a NA

You can remap a turbo engined car so easily to pump out way more power than stock (just get it remapped).

With an NA you are limited in that regard.

Still looking at naturally aspirated 3 litres though. Apparently the real world mpg isn't noticeably any worse than the 2l turbo (as mlcor says) which sounds a bit shit tbh. I have a sickness - why can I not just settle!
You are actually turning the DTC off when the button is lit--it's red to show that you've chosen to defeat the system, and it wants to make sure that's what you really want, and the light reminds you that you've turned off a safety feature. Default is on, therefore no light when system is on.

    Nope - you're turning it ON. http://www.bmw.com/com/en/insights/t...n_control.html

Yeah - it's counter-intuitive, and there's a load of misinformation on the net. You can turn dtc on for a bit of wheelspin, or dsc off for loads.

I like the way GM does their traction and stability control. On my Corvette and CTSV there is a middle ground mode between on and off that allows some hooliganism but saves your ass when it gets too far out of line.
