    Just realized I forgot to click the like button on OP.

    I keep coming back to this thread to look at the pictures again because there was something bugging me, and now I think I've worked out what it was:
    The date window ... more specifically the date wheel ... Based on my usual preferences, it should bother me that it's white; but it doesn't. Now (I think) I've worked out why: It's because it 'balances' with the power reserve disc on the other side. If there were a '9' at the appropriate position, the date window would annoy the hell out of me. It just 'works' as it is.
    The more I look at the North Flag, the more I like it.
