It's funny. I love mangos. I love mango juice. I love mango juice mixed with orange juice.

But I don't like mangos in my food.

I've never had mango in food. I'm prepared to give it a try.

I was still working through the remains of that lasagne last night.

They go well with aged, unsmoked things like serrano or proscuitto or even pancetta and if you are going a curry route, they are pretty good with shrimp and coconut milk.

This salad was pretty good. The sharpness of the arugula was a nice counterpoint to the sweetness of the mango.

Looks good, and who doesn't love a scotch egg... lots of bread though?

Looks like your version of a charcuterie.

Yeah we didn't eat all the bread. The rest perfectly filled 2 of us. It was (in a London accent) 'a meat platter and a fish platter'. We don't speak French here.

What is the shiny red globe in in the upper right? I can't quite make it out.
50¢ cherry jawbreaker? Snooker ball? Ooh! Giant cranberry?

Good question. It's a giant cranberry. I didn't eat it - shall I post it you?

Beetroot picked eggs mate. Cold, but tasty.
