Ugali is the Kenyan name and posho is the Ugandan name. I don't like it much, I prefer Matooke which is called Plantain in English, green bananas. Surprisingly there isn't a Ugandan restaurant in aware of in London despite there being so many Ugandans.
Anyway people didn't really understand the number plate because they didn't know Porsche in the first place. It's one of only 2 911's in the country.
The plate will go on the Merc now which makes it largely irrelevant but in Uganda you can't trade or sell plates and it remains with you until you die
Plus number plate fees have gone up from £1,000 to £5,000 so I'm not buying a new one!

They're great if you can afford to buy a new one every couple of years, but used, no thanks.

I've had a few Mercedes and would buy another. I did have a a c250, it was ok in town, but on a trip the seats would reduce you to tears. I'm of an age I want comfort over handling.

I should just keep the two vehicles I have, but I'm retiring and I figure 1 newer vehicle would be better than 2 older ones.

Honestly my experience with Jags and Audis, I'd buy a Ford era Jag way before an Audi (except the S-Type). Every VAG product I have dealt with via friends has been an absolute nightmare.

Me too, and I have a chronic back problem - but the seats in my C220 are the most comfortable I've ever experienced.

My c250 was a 2005.

My 1997 Ford F 150 is one of the most comfortable vehicles I've ever owned. I hate to give it up, but with the onset of arthritis, it's getting tough to climb into and shift.
I'm afraid my standard transmission days are over.

I've had the same experience. Had a Ford-era Jaguar Type-R sedan, loved it, never gave me a lick of trouble in the five years I owned it. Sold it when I moved from Florida to Illinois, and got an Audi S6. Had that one for five years, and it was great fun with the V-10 in it. It was expensive in terms of maintenance/repair, but didn't seem unreliable to me. Sold it when I bought the Panamera 4S, which has been an astoundingly good and reliable car for the four years I've had it. So good that I bought a three year extended warranty and plan on keeping it.

Aside from a few minor issues, my 9 years of Volkswagen ownership were basically trouble free. My brother has had a few more issues with his S4, but my Passat and Jetta were fantastic. And it's not like I babied them. I once pegged the speedometer of the Passat at 130 for a full 15 minutes. I set the cruise control! I couldn't believe that cruise control worked at the top speed.

Let's also note that the XF is not a Ford era Jag; it's Tata era. I don't know how that makes anyone feel, but that's that.

Also, I can't sleep, so I built a Focus RS for fun. In colors other than the bright blue, it tones down how juvenile the styling is; but full loaded it is a $43,000 Ford Focus!
