That would be your nostrils when you're driving it

My BIL has both a dino (as per the photo) and a 430something or other

I think he prefers the dino.........

Besides the 430 is as wide as a bus

If I could have any Ferrari though the Daytona would still be my choice.

I'm gonna talk about upgrading my car *again* now, so bear with. I pay £190pcm for my polo and the wife would rather I pay nothing more, mostly because I have a motorbike too. I have discovered that 1) you can get a BMW 328i that hits 60 in 5.8 seconds for £13.5k (1.5k more than I paid for my veedub - what was I thinking) and 2) this third party finance company will only charge me £217pcm for it with not a penny up front. That's £27pcm more for what's quite a bit more car really.

Not gorgeous and I'd like an M sport package but I can't afford it. We put our dog in the back twice a week so 4 doors is practical. I want a rear wheel drive car.

The issues are that she doesn't want a white car (fair enough, I'd prefer black or blue, even though she'd prefer we keep the current one, which is white) and she doesn't want people to think that we're rich/flashy (especially the convertible, which is an option), which is just bizarre but women are strange creatures. Gonna go test drive. A 330 or 325 could work too. Odd engine options - you can get 325s with 1.6l, 2l and 3l engines. The 2l is often quicker.

Another option, only 2 doors, but convertible. But 7.6 to 60.

    This final payment thing...

Do you have to, and will you have it?

But the swap - yes, of course.

I will have it in a couple of years but I have no desire to own this long term. I'll likely change in 2 years. I'd happily leas, except that actually works out much cheaper.

    OK.

What about insurance costs, and do you actually need a performance version?

I deffo want more power but a drop top could be fun. Of course I don't need more power. Do you need 6 watches?! Insurance difference is £100 a year so negligible here; mpg is 10% better on the lower powered model which at £20 a week in petrol is £100 a year difference. The hardest factors are 2011 or 2012/13 model (I think the former actually looks better but newer is usually better) and... actually that's about it. I'm leaning towards the newer 328 actually now talking it through.

You'll need more power with a drop top, car for car, they are noticeably heavier.
