    MWC PART 7 - MANIC WRISTWATCH CO-FORMULATION

The thing for me with regards to going up to the next level (apart from the financial hit) is future servicing costs on something like a speedy, I mean that could buy you a really nice watch!! As we all know there are some fantastic watches to be had under 1K so I can't see myself breaking that ceiling anytime soon.

yes would have to be some thing that had a reasonable service pricing .. it not so much the name of the watch for me I need certain things from it that a mid range might not have to a degree .. needed some that would look right in most situations but also something you could use hard but it not to look so .. so for me don't mind the dings so happy to go second hand so open's a wide range from the say £250 to say £1000 for me the price point is got to justify it so hard push to go above £400 / £500 and needs to be something you have not got to service every five minutes to keep it acceptable ...

so needs to be priced for the watch it self not the name soo bit lost to what that is I know strela are pricey but they do alright long term can take a knock and to a degree not expensive to service if you have someone that knows what they are doing but just don't have the one watch sorted yet..

think you have to go through these choices and learn as you go for some one to say have this or that could do some a disservice as finding out some times is part of the fun

yes there loads I wish I never bought and been a nuisances and a lose to move on but it all on the bell curve which is all for the good in the end as will have something I want and will hopeful not tire of

well I did start saving for "the big one" I thought £700 is really pushing it but I couldn't justify spending it on one watch so once I got to 500 I bought the Dan Henry and a Tissot T-Touch 2nd hand. I would have put pics up earlier but it took me 2 hours to take an A++ condition, clean, no scratches watch!!! and make it look like it should! I think A++ must mean dragged across the A1 in busy traffic! lol

    Edit: Pics

Thing about being in the 'affordable' gang..when you average circa. 200 and then starting to consider x5 - 1000, you're not going to get a watch 5 times better 😀
