Yeah turbo's make engines volumetrically efficient, so everyone and his mum is doing it nowadays.

That 1.4 is more than likely helped along by a turbo, giving you an effective ~2Litre ish NA

Is that suzuki a 4x4 or an awd
    It's yet another wannabe..

    Was joking innit….

Manufacturers can still make big bar steward engines (if there's enough demand) , it's the fleet/portfolio overall average emissions they have to keep bringing down….

Sadly. Luckily, I still have two naturally aspirated V-8's in the garage. One gets around 21-22 mpg in mixed driving, not so horrible. The other one...well, not quite so great but I don't care.

Congrats on the new ride! Glad you got it. Love mine, I've put almost 10k miles on it this year.

Fuel economy and range are pretty bad but the great chassis and drivetrain makes up for it.

Keep the trans in comfort mode, stay out of boost, it should get high teens for mpg.

With the CTS-V, I'm also now in the "not so great, but I don't care" camp.

I know you have the Aston. What's the other one?
