Ha ha. Once the snow starts here, they put so much salt on the roads that you don't want to drive a really nice car until the first heavy rains of spring...

So I used to get really annoyed when I had the car heating on but it automatically turned the air con on when I set the fans on the windscreen to demist in winter. I thought 'why would I want the heater AND the cold ac on? Turns out it's correct - ac doesn't mean cold, and helps demist. Who knew?
