    are there any budding lectricians among us? my kitchen plug sockets are on a different fuse to the rest of the house, my washing machine has just started blowing the fuse in the fuse box. every other socket and appliance is ok, plug the washer back in and the fuse blows again! any ideas what it could be?

    Could be a break in you washing machne cable itself and arcs

    Sounds like your washing machine is shorting, maybe water where it shouldn't be?

    it's looking that way, tried every different option, different extensions, different sockets etc. it blows every time
