So, this weekend has shown us the best and worst of Alberto Moreno. To me, it's proven that he's not a left back. He's not very comfortable with the defensive side of the game, as evidenced by his lack of ability to pressure the cross that led to the second goal. A left back is needed this winter. Even if it's someone who can just back up Milner, who is doing a surprisingly fine job at it.
It also showed that Dejan Lovren continues to be not up to the job. Fluffing an easy pass and clearance and gifting a goal is just one of the many mistakes he's made over the years. With him as part of our back four, we'all have to continue scoring four goals a match to get three points. He's essentially a disassociative defender; you never know which Lovren will show up. I hear Kompany had been frozen out and is for sale. He'd look good in red.

While JM will always hold his place in Chelsea lore, I have to say it's so nice to now have a manager who oozes class and has the team playing a dynamic, stylish brand of football. The fact the Mou is now at United leading them to his patented results such as a thrilling 0-0 with Burnley is just icing on the cake. And Sir Alex Ferguson with his comments that Chelsea isn't a top 5 team (but United is) continues to show how out of touch he is. Though this is the man who thought David Moyes was the one to lead MU to future glory, so my guess is that nobody is making bets based on his predictions. I hope he continues to hang around meddling in United's affairs for many years to come!
