Haven't been to Texas in a couple decades. Would love to make it, too early to tell. But in the mean time (I see Thunder Over Michigan didn't make the cut), Dayton, Cleveland, Chicago and Toronto are all within a 5 hour drive or less. I should be able to make at least one of those (Yay!). Oshkosh (never been, need to get there sometime) is about 8, and PLENTY of reasons to go... I'll be at at least one of these, possibly several.

ETA: Are those TX dates correct? That's the middle of the week, airshows are most often on weekends...

My current plans begin with the Dayton Oh. Air Show in June. Anyone considering going, try to include a day or two for seeing the USAF Museum at Wright Patterson AFB, it is phenomenal. I've been to many of the top Air Museums in the USA, and this one is among them.

Only true competition for them is the Smithsonian's Udvay Hazy Center Museum at Dulles International, and really that just competes in different categories. They are both tops IMO, with substantial differences making each the cream of the crop, with different advantages over the other.

Dang it, forgot Dayton show was in June, so I missed it! Cleveland, Chicago and Osh Kosh are all still possibilities... anyone here been to see them anywhere in N.A. yet?

I have my tickets for the Houston show. So I will be seeing them for sure.

Well, looks like my primary backup plan has been scuttled. The schedule here shows them in Cleveland Labor Day weekend. But the Cleveland show site has no mention of them, and their own website does not list that show. In fact the list above also shows them in Toronto On. on the same date, and that show IS on their schedule.... so maybe I am going all the way to Toronto now? (Don't really like traveling to Canada if I can help it).
