I would love to, but the only radiator in the room has to go back on the blocks. ☹️️ and the floor is concrete under the wooden flooring so not easy to switch it's position. The chimney is capped so I could have put a sheet of hard board up behind the arch to stop drafts

hmmm could you not set the radiator back in to the chimney have a nice box cover over it but then still make the rest look like a fire place with say a nice adams frame so you got function and form as well ?

depend how much you got to play with you could even open it up and put this in to the space
