    morning mate off out in a minute to get a paste board oh the joys of wall paper hanging just glad am going bold on top or I would be pulling my hair out come time to hang the wall paper

    I just got a new one from screwfix, "W" shaped leg frame, mdf top, £25 solid for the money

    Just waiting for the plasterer to finish the damp proofing

    Drying over the weekend then back to it
    Out with the dog while he has lunch break

    sounds like the one I just got suppose to be really strong and can be used for other things then just a paste board ..bloody heavy I can tell ya .. yeah just I like to get on and get done but with wall paper you gots to give it ten minutes or so for each drop not my sort of diy

    I would be tempted to knock out the breeze blocks and make a feature of the fire place but they can be wind traps thou can't they so might be better to go function over form maybe

    I would love to, but the only radiator in the room has to go back on the blocks. ☹️️ and the floor is concrete under the wooden flooring so not easy to switch it's position. The chimney is capped so I could have put a sheet of hard board up behind the arch to stop drafts
