I had C on the C tonight, it was just right , not sure where it was grown, but I've another to eat so I'll look on the pack.

I love it almost as much as I love beetroot .............

Mmm...corn on the cob. When the local Mennonite corn comes in I fire roast enough to last me the winter. Is it as good as fresh? No. Is it better than every other option in the middle of winter? A million times better.

If you pickle it all you miss all the other lovely beet options. Oven roasted, marinated in orange juice and pepper and then grilled, borscht and so many other yummy variations.

Picanha aka rump roast on the grill. Nothing added but sea salt. Served with chimi churri.

Tried strawberry this time. I actually don't care for strawberry ice cream, but I made it for my mother in law's B-day coming up. It's her favorite. It came out a little icy and less creamy, I wonder if I used too much strawberry?

Ha funny - as per my previous post and as Seriously said above Yotam Ottlenghi. I am disproportionately pleased when what I cook looks like the picture in the book
