    Been riding for years (too many years) and I'm convinced that 125 - 250 is where the fun is. Fun comes from revving and thrashing. Get much above that and you just can't crack it open very often. We had a few Jap inport 400s before (ZXR and an NC30), perhaps they were the ultimate balance.. Two wheeled versions of my car in some ways:

    The abarth is way cool. My 125 is too slow. 250 might be okay, but knowing me I'll just want faster so may as well skip to the end.

    The MT-10 is obviously not suitable for a learner, but "low down grunt" is something a motorcyclist of 30 years wants because twisting the throttle too much makes his trick arm play up. 4 cylinders and a >10k redline is where the fun is at, and it feels fast too. Orangesport is on the money, a 400-600cc is perfectly useable on the road and the twisties.

    No, it's one of the last incarnations of Fiat's FIRE engine; 1.4 16V, twin cam, turbo, twin intercoolers etc etc...

    Brilliant and silly car.. Love it, but unfortunately it's going to be looking for a new home soon..

    I've left my job and I'm doing my knowledge to be a cabbie... Should be ready in November and will then have a cab. We also have the wife's CLK which she wants to keep (bigger boot, auto etc) and we won't need three cars.. It's a shame, but would make no sense to keep it..

    The market seems different here to London and is pretty sewn up but the local firms. There are Uber drivers here but they all work in London. So hopefully not.

    Should be on the road before Christmas as it's quicker here than in London. I need to get out of the office and do something less stressful, so even if it's only for a few years it'll give me time to see what else is about.

    I'm done with having a phone that doesn't stop all day, evening, weekend and all through my holidays with calls, emails and texts. Also done with 15 hour days door to door and unrealistic expectations of what can be achieved. Money's nice, but no good if I have a breakdown!

    A few mates are cabbies and they all love it and do well enough...

    Time for a lifestyle change!
