Anyway, it makes sense. Newcastle have the strongest squad in the Championship, the best manager and the biggest support. I believe they will come back up first time of asking and challenge for cups. I don't think it will be easy but we have the quality to do it. I mean I think the team now is better then the one that got demoted. So Yedlin joins a club on the rise or Aston Villa (which would be strong contender to come back up and have a good manager and new owner) or he can go to Sunderland where it looks like the team may be weaker then the team that barely survived last year especially if they lose Kone. It seems those were the three clubs seriously chasing him.
And really of those three which club would you choose if you were a professional a club with new owners and a Champions League winning manager, one of the top 20 in terms of support teams in Europe with a Champions League winning manager or a club with a manager who has failed badly at this last clubs and has consistently barely survived.
