No, not that, although my wife has recently been diagnosed with it.
With me beer just aggravates my sinuses

With reference back to Geoff's earlier comment about proper pubs serving 2 sorts of wine, red or white, I'm currently staying at an all inclusive resort where they have only 3 sorts, red, white and rosé. It comes out of taps, but actually isn't too bad.
More of a problem (perversely) is the generosity with which they pour spirits. A G&T is 50% gin, which makes it almost undrinkable IMO. I have to ask for a weak one or get a separate glass of tonic and remix it.

You abroad I'm guessing? UK measures are too small, abroad measures are too big. Happy medium required I think.

I recently had margaritas made up with hibiscus syrup. That is made from dried flowers steeped and sweetened with your choice of sweetener. Talk about a great and different taste!

I've actually had a cocktail with hibiscus syrup and a beer as well. Interesting flavors.

I'm currently sipping on a Hendricks and soda water. I have played around with Hendricks martinis and such, but it is such a lovely complex flavor that I like it just slightly thinned out with fizz.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.
