I've used my breadmaker before but tbh the tin is too small so the bread was alway very dense. This is my first attempt at non machine bread and it turned out swell! Just flour salt, water and yeast combined for literally seconds (no neading), then stood for 12 hours, dropped in a le crueset dish in a 200 degree oven for 25 mins then 10 with the lid off. Really, really good bread.

Congratulations. No knead bread is a great way to get into making it for real. It is so much better than bread machine bread and good enough that you can stop right there and still beat a lot of other breads.

Mushrooms are technically a vegetable. I'm not sure potatoes count either, really.

I like spinach, cucumbers, zucchini, squash, carrots, green beans, mushrooms, and maybe some other vegetables too.

Listing the veg I don't like is probably easier. Brussels sprouts- not really big on them. Eggplant- yawn. Pretty much everything else is-GO!

Onions, peppers and tomatoes, even they are fruit, are big faves as well as whatever is locally in season and bitter greens of all kinds.

Eggplant! I forgot those. I like them. Broccoli rabe too. But I ****ing hate broccoli.

I like asparagus too. And lots of the green leaf vegetables, like lettuce and arugula.

Asparagus and broccoli rabe are both wonderful. I have unfortunately eaten all my broccoli rabe already.

Not an eggplant fan. Mostly a texture thing. Other than that I can't think of a veggie I don't like, but there are methods of preparing them that I don't like. Love carrots, but won't touch them cooked.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

A true treasure from the garden. Garlic scapes. This is the first time I have had any garlic produce them, most likely because of the variety I am growing this year.I'll have about a half dozen by the weekend, which means garlic scape omelets.
