I'm happy to hear that it isn't all for show. I drove a Panamera shortly after they came out, but I didn't play around with any of the fun settings. My father-in-law had ordered it when it was announced, but traded it in for something a little splashier not long after he got it.

The Panamera and his convertible Turbo were traded in for a Continental GT convertible. Lovely car, but he got frustrated with the amount of time it spent in the shop, so he got rid of that a couple months ago. He had some interesting plans for a replacement, but I think he's holding off to see if they make the EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept. Fingers crossed on that one!

I'm listening to James May's Cars of the People on Amazon Prime streaming at work. Such a calming individual; his voice should be in spas instead of harp music.

Apparently the 4c won't be in production to much longer. Also it is apparently pretty poorly built.
Some quotes from the Grassroots Motorsports staff about the car.
They are thrilling.....in that you expect them to burst into flames at any moment. Seriously, although they are fast and responsive (and some would say beautiful), they feel like they were put together by a 4th grader.
If you like the 4c, go buy a used Elise. It will be as much fun, and they are actually reliable and pretty well built. It totally makes sense...until you live with it for an extended period of time. The 4C is the cokehead pornstar girlfriend of the car world.
There's going to be unparalleled excitement and thrills, but also a lot of unexplainable downtime and likely a violent ending that leaves you broke and insane.

True. I had mine for nine years, it was very reliable, although it certainly always rattled (windows, mostly, especially when down). Never had a serious problem with it, which makes sense given its Toyota based drivetrain.
Anyway, an Alfa Romeo with reliability issues? Shocked, I am.
