Just white crab meat here I'm afraid - and not all that much of it. There's a good fishmonger near me that I must start using (I live by the sea) as opposed to getting supermarkets to - very conveniently - deliver it.

To be fair I didn't have a proper camera until 6 months ago, and even now I still often just use my phone.

Cantaloupe, clementines, smoked chicken and mustard greens on orecchiette served at room temperature. The salad dressing is an emulsion of sour cream, champagne vinegar, evoo and grainy hot mustard. Gruyere and clementine zest to finish.

It's actually not as odd as it seems. Cantaloupe, arugula, prosciutto and lemon is a super delicious Italian thing. This is sort of the light summer version.

That's a lot of fruit to be in a dish that I'd eat, but it for damn sure looks pretty.

I was close. I picked mandarins, chicken, lettuce, and orecchiette. Completely missed the vile melon (thank gods).

I don't like melons, and just smell of a fresh cantaloupe will actually make me ill. I have to leave the room if a really fresh one is cut open.

There's very little I won't eat, or at least try, but the only thing melons are good for is targets.

What an amusing food nemesis. My only one is tinned tuna (I love a steak though).
