Italian meatballs, which will nestle in a crusty loaf with some provolone melted on top.

It was my wife's birthday and she wanted me to make pizza. The first pizza here is a caramelized onion pizza. Typically, we top it with faina.

The dough fought me, but I finally got it down. I do this about once a year and I guessed 25 degrees to high on the oven, so there is a little more darkness than I cared for.

The filler pizza was a jalapeno flavored SPAM, yes SPAM, pizza with pineapple chunks. It really was quite delicious!

I dropped the oven temp 25 degrees and it came out looking darn good.

The piece de resistance was a Chicago deep dish. At this point, I was working so hard no pics exist. Sorry.

But we all had an excellent meal!

Dan, my favorite pizza is pepperoni and pineapple.
I'd go for that Spam pie like a pit bull at a pork chop!

Man I love egg salad. Thought about it for lunch today but I need a perfectly ripe avocado and couldn't find one.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

The cresses, mustard greens and chives came right out of the garden, so today's egg salad will be extra zippy.

I cannot abide spam. I've tried it several times, it's just not for me. Unless there are drunken vikings involved. Then I will enjoy it to the point of laughing uncontrollably.
