I love them. I don't need bigger legs at all, but I just enjoy lifting big weights.

I've a bad knee so I need to build the muscles around it to keep it in place.

I do love the heavy weights tho I was deadlifting 160kg and squatting 130kg at Xmas as 1 or 2 reps max. I really want to hit 200kg but ive a lot of work to do to get there

Sounds like we're at a similar level. Keep me updated with progress.

I'm well aware of the perils of overworking (or perhaps under-resting) muscles and joints, thanks to Scott or was it Wayne here? Dangerous.

Will do, it'll probably be the end of may that I start training again properly once the college load eases off.

I've hypermobile joints so they all move too much and have basically worn out my joints. My knee is the worst tho one doc said he thinks there's no cartilage left in it. Not great at 25 hahahaha

Finally got a chance to go to the gym before college today. Id planned to work up to 120kg squat but after I managed 10 reps I decided to push it a bit and ended up getting two reps at 150kg

Good work. With squats and deadlifts it's so easy to add 10kg and do the same number of reps.
