Not this time, though it usually is cod loin. There was some beautiful halibut at the store. I bought several large pieces and portioned them.

We have a bounty of Chinese cabbage and Thai basil, so a coconut curry for the second night in a row, though much different.



This soup is very bright with calamansi, lime leaves and ginger.

Totally exhausted, but gamely working through the Chinese cabbage, which after tonight is back under control. Leftover rice from the banana curry means...fried rice. I overcooked the salmon, but I am too tired to care. The addition of tatsoi to the fried rice was inspired. The peppery greens added a new dimension.
