I own this model, bought it in 1994 or so.
I had to exchange the battery (once!!!) since then and i cant remember anything special to do.
So just an AC should work!

yes tried that in and out the light works the display comes up but seems frozen so think it got to be jumpedOriginally Posted by Iyonk
If the buttons dont work, you could check if the module seated correctly on the socket and the buttons pin nudge the contact..
you could also pull the module out first and push the contact area with a screwdriver to see if it work or not... of course after AC reset like Greg suggest..
think the video might be the answer so am going to open it again and see if I can jump start ita bit later
