    The best fried chicken I ever had was in fact my own, using a little buttermilk, jerk rub and hot sauce by way of Louisiana

    That said I haven't eaten all that much of it and is never been to Uncle Sam at all, let alone the southern states.

    Tried a more complex version of a tomato basil sauce this evening. Amongst other things pine nuts are pureed with a portion of the tomatoes.

    We love pine nuts too, it's just that they have become ridiculously expensive in the past year or two.

    I have always found pine nuts to be overpriced. Usually in the $30/lb region. They freeze good though, so if you see a good number you can stock up.
    It is now my duty to completely drain you.
