Well, I finally figured out how to heat up a steak properly. On the pan, with Irish butter, couple of minutes each side, then covered for a minute. Crisps up the outside, warms the inside without cooking it. When that steak came off the pan, it was still rare and delicious. Topped with a thin slice of butter and some pink salt.

First: Pain au Levain from a yoghurt starter.
Second: I ground a 1 1/2 pound turkey breast with a haf pound of brown mushrooms, seasoned that like hot Italian sausage.
A couple of quarts of tomatoes I canned in fall, a bottle of white wine, garlic, onions, fennel fronds and down to the garden for some fresh basil. Simmer for three or four hours until reduced by at least half.
Third: While harvesting the basil, I also picked this.
Fourth: Opened a decent Montepulciano and dug in:
