    Thanks, Dan! Those watches are cool. I'd love to see one in person to get a sense for how large 55mm really is compared to the modern pilot watches.

    I enjoyed the Stowa B-uhr that I had and I have a hard time envisioning something as simple as how big the hands would have been on the originals. The hour hand on mine seemed a bit stubby, but I doubt the original would have done the same.

    Given the bumpiness of the ride, having big hands would help on readability!
