Oh, me as well. Weather today? That's fair: what should we BBQ?

Actually, it's spaghetti factory Friday and I've already taken out my trust Atlas 150. But I'm considering giant BBQ chicken ravioli, so the Weber won't get lonely.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

Back when I had a grill, it took a lot to keep me from it.

If we do get one here, it would have to go on the roof, which means it would have to be a fair weather thing. No protection from wind or rain or snow up there. When it's cold, it's very cold on the roof.

Amen! Although I will concede that seems rather disingenuous considering at worst it's around mid 30's (and that's F) around here. Mostly in the 40's in the evenings during winter.

How is that surprising? It's two delicious things together.

Yeah but the restaurant doesn't get great reviews. Considering its £20 for either option it looks like an expensive burger or cheap lobster. Thankfully, it's neither - they're both delicious.

Sometimes it is the simple things that taste good.

We were supposed to go out but the wife fell off the steps and hit her head on a wall. Probably more impact to her tail bone. Fortunately no damage to her head or the wall. But I am sure she hurt greatly and offered to cook her dinner. She opted for bacon and eggs. The bacon I cook in the microwave on a special platter that makes it crispy how she likes it. The eggs were cooked in a mixture of goose fat and salted butter. Add some buttered toast and she was happy. I was grateful as well. Head cracks are not to be taken lightly.

Jeez, Dan. While bacon and eggs sounds delicious, I hope your wife is okay.

She is fine for the circumstances. A lot of aches, but no real head trauma. I try to stay up with that kind of stuff due to some of the work I do and she had a very mild concussion if that.

    Thanks!

I was drinking a Granville winter ale today, and thought to myself that it's so rich every can is like 2 slices of bread, and had a light bulb moment.

The black snowdonia is a lovely mid-tier cheese, slightly sharp with a nice delicate crumble and an overall creamy finish. Should pair well with this beer...

...in a snack-worthy beer and cheddar bread. Sautéed onion and fresh garlic. It came out perfect, crunchy outside and moist inside. It's actually a little saltier than I might have expected but nothing off at all.

This was actually only half of the bread work I got myself into today, part 2 coming up for dinner.
