Just curious as I see them listed in a number of recipes, but never tried them before.

Not a dumb question! They taste a bit nutty, peppery, and a bit like caraway. Imagine a black sesame seed slightly burnt and mixed with black pepper? Basically they taste like Nigella. Really good on top of Persian flat bread.

Made this for dinner Thursday night.

Shrimp and and pineapple fried rice. It was delicious. I love Blue Apron. Haven't had a bad meal yet.

Yeah, it's awesome. I'm making great, healthy food, stuff I would never have thought to make myself (I'd never have thought to put pineapple in food), and it's making me a better cook. And it's perfectly portioned for me and my brother, and each meal is only $10 a person.

Pineapple is awesome in a number of dishes.

I have a great pineapple, coca-cola (The real stuff with cane sugar, not the high fructose junk), and habanero marinade for steak that really infuses the steak with a nice pineapple flavor.

    Sounds yummy.

And a good al pastor is a very fine taco.
