Fresh little harvest, a slice of homemade bread with some of that butter and a bit of my wife's lemon vinaigrette.

Too hungry to take a better picture or plate the food in any fashion. Delicious meal, nonetheless.



Slow roasted duck with a rosemary orange pan jus, cauliflower and cannellini mash and zucchini with meyer lemon.

Loves me some duck! I've also made a few interesting cauliflower mashes over time, but with the price of cauliflower these days! Geez.

Cauliflower is very expensive in Canada right now . In winter almost all of it comes from California. There is a drought there right now and on top of that the Canadian dollar is taking a beating right now. Bottom line- $8-10 for a head of cauliflower.
