Old picture, but it looks identical. Smoked tofu salad.

Also, I took the afternoon off and one of the things I did was test the limits of the Asistent. Three and a half kilos of dough.
A non- specific blend of organic white, smart flour, atta and whole wheat as well as an atta based biga.

Hamburger buns. Since one doesn't want a hamburger bun to be too crispy as soon as these came out of the oven I brushed them with some of the garlic butter from yesterday.

And this morning I broke the habit of a lifetime (almost literally) and had an omelet! Name: uploadfromtaptalk1453801541353.jpg

Mushrooms, garlic, onion, bacon, Romano peppers, cheese... Was amazing! I forgot to add milk to the eggs so it was a little filling-heavy but hey - better than the other way round. I shall have that again.

Very few things I read elicit a verbal (yes, like actually out loud) response from me....

Upon seeing the picture of those lovely looking hamburger buns bu11itt muttered, "Oh G*d d*mn!"

Enchiladas for supper! I made the sauce from morita, pasilla and ancho chiles as well as some air dried jalapenos from my garden.

I love enchiladas. They're like fajitas but better. Chimichangas are better still, cos they're deep fried. Never made em.

Homemade cheese, mushroom, onion and garlic sauce (touch of Worcester, mustard and scotch; I stopped short at adding bacon as it's becoming a little ubiquitious).

Sweet potato chips in the oven.
