Don't know how I feel about the Arsenal/Chelsea match though. On the one hand, I enjoy seeing Chelsea lose, on the other, I like seeing Leicester at the top of the table.

Hmm, apparently Alex Teixeira has not only acknowledged the bid, but wants to go to the Prem, and wants to leave this window. The plot thickens.

Strong rumour: Mario Suarez has chosen to come to Watford rather than Liverpool. Fine details of transfer fee being thrashed out with Fiorentina today.

Better he go to Watford. The thought of a Suarez, as opposed to the Suarez, coming to Liverpool is too painful.

If Chelsea can't win the title, at least they've taken 6 points from Arsenal and done all they can to prevent Wenger from getting it.
With the form that Everton and Palace are in, the top half of the table looks close...

Seems that Andros Townsend is on his way to Newcastle for £12m. That's a lot, frankly; he hasn't been favored by Pochettino for over a year, and I think his ceiling is kind of low and he's near it already. Not a bad player, but probably not worth more than £9m.
Newcastle also seems to be in pole for a Remy loan. With Pato coming in for Chelsea (if true), it makes sense for Remy to try to go somewhere and play, rather than just getting really good seats for his team's matches. 29 and not getting any younger; if he doesn't play consistently, you could really see a decline.

Yeah I am not pleased with the price for Townsend but god we need wingers...
Remy makes sense though. He is a proven goal scorer and he had a great season with us on loan previously. Gives someone for Mitrovic to develop behind for the rest of this season and gives Remy a chance to make a push for the France Euro team. I really think Mitrovic is the starting striker of our future but at 21 and coming from the Belgian league he just isn't quite ready to be the starting striker in a relegation struggle.
