I already heard that stat this week. No surprise. Worst in the league.

i think you reds have to accept that you are not going to make the top four now -too many good teams above who want it more - its clear the final top four will come from the current top six placed teams

The season's barely halfway done. With a few key personnel changes or additions in January, we could be right back at it, frankly.

Given this season anything can happen but it is going to be hard to make up 8 points of Tottenham or 13 on Leicester. I don't think they have the players to do that. They are going to need some smart transfers especially up top and some luck with injuries.

If we even had the likes of Shane Long up top today, we probably would have won.

Any one of Ings, Strurridge or Origi would have been enough. Man U were terrible apart from De Gea. Rooney was cut out or closed down virtually every time the ball came his way. Our usual headless chicken approach to corners cost us the goal and the match.
I really believe that our main problem is the keeper. Not because of his regular brainfarts, but because he doesn't dominate his area, instruct his defenders or give them any confidence whatsoever. It is so obvious when watching them that no one else in the team has the slightest idea where he is going to be and, consequently, where they have to be.

Still, Man U. fans had a pretty pyhrric victory since a loss today might have meant an end to LVG (who gave no credit to De Gea afterwards btw). They'll be watching that crap for a while yet.

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
