City strolled thru that against a highly rated Palace - we have had an inconsistent run yet still up there -was beginning to feel a little uncomfortable but my confidence is fully restored

It isn't like he was bad at Swansea and he brings a little bit of nastiness to the center midfield of Newcastle. A quality badly missing with Tiote being injury or out of form and now leaving. He got stuck in a number of times. Although Colback has been doing his best to collect yellows lol.
I don't know he can be our savior or anything but if someone can provide a link between defense and our attacking players it should help a lot.
I can't say I have watched more then a couple games with Shelvey in them so far all I know you could be right but I am hopeful after that game.

i'm pleased for Newcastle -they are a huge club with great history and fantastic fanbase- relegation is unthinkable for a club like that

Wow. Huth should be red carded for that. It was like throwing a punch, basically. I can't believe it wasn't given at all.

Poor from Leicester. Missed penalty by Mahrez, missed sitter due to overthinking by Drinkwater, and they lived to regret it as Gestede punished them. A draw is about what they were worth today, but they threw those extra two points away.

Cautiously optimistic about this match. Although, the rivalry and hated between the two cities, sets of fans, and sets of players runs deep; which means that United tends to up their game as well. No one wants to lose this match. Despite their shakiness, in a Liverpool-United derby, it's always a tough match.
