It is my favorite muscle car especially the '72 Gran Torino.

One of my biggest regrets was not buying a '68 Torino with 427 side oiler.

Why are you rubbing your face on cloth seats???

I'd still rather have cloth on most cars especially sports cars and sports compacts. Cars with leather are miserable in Alabama and usually have a bunch of options I don't want like power adjustable seats and stupid freaking touch screen radios which are the worst. I am big fan of as base a car as possible. My perfect car interior would be suede, alcantara, carbon fiber, manual roll down windows, manual bucket supportive bucket seats and a simple radio with iPhone Jack. I would want leather in a big luxury car like a Jag though.

I love Huntsville. It is right size for me and has everything I want to do regularly in it. Plus there is the mild winter. I couldn't live up in the cold north...

I agree with mostly everything here, but I do prefer leather seats over cloth. I have alcantara seats (and manual roll windows believe it or not) in one of my cars and those are super sweet. Also I'm usually not a fan of base wheels, but I'll go with you on the touch screen radio (really hate those) and power adjustable seats, etc.

That is one of the few places I might move but I really love Huntsville.

We have most everything I am interested in, 9 breweries, a very active autocross club, 7 excellent disc golf coarse, British car club, three seasons of Ultimate Frisbee. And living here is cheap and there are lots of jobs for engineers. Honestly the only thing I wish there was more of is fine dining, not that I do that often at all but the options here are somewhat limited. There are tons of good ethic food places and casual dining places but not a lot of places for fining dining for special occasions.

Well, my transmission is not in love with this weather. The car didn't want to go into first this morning and trying to shift was an issue. It was like stirring cold caramel.

How cold was it? I remember a few times when I drove an '88 Corolla where you literally couldn't shift until the car warmed up for a few minutes. -40 C nights and such.
