    One thing we'd need if we do have such a forum is buy-in from the members to help with ID and possible fake-busting. We don't want flame wars over issues like this so reasonable judgment and politeness will also be required. Nobody on the IWL staff is a Russian expert although personally I love them and their history.

    snap me to and try and nick a couple to name spring to mind from across the road they seem quite knowledgeable were I am very keen but novice

    well now ohdark30 here we have one of the people I had in mind o'd has been helpful to me on many occasion when needing a second opinion on a watch or information about some watch or other and she did some great thread across the road which I mite hope she would do again here so yeah I vote o'd for tech/fake helper guy/girl
