Speaking of Monk and Swansea, the documentary Jack to a King is an excellent watch:
For those in the US, this aired in two parts on Premier League Download (great show BTW) on NBCSN. I'm sure it will come back around on reruns or on-demand.

Wonder who will get sacked first; Brendan Rodgers or Steve Mclaren at newcastle. They look completely lost already this season.
Although didn't Newcastle also appoint Mclaren to their board too? Wouldn't that present issues if they wished to sack him? I think Moyes would be a good shout for Newcastle, although they may be "below" where he sees himself now.
In my mind at least Newcastle are still a force and should be making more of an impact in the league that they should. (but then I also think that of Leeds Utd and hope they make it back one day)
Ps. Rodgers Out, Klopp in

I think Rodgers goes first. As dreadful as we have been there were some good performances against Man U, Arsenal and Southampton. It was always going to take time to rebuild the team after Carver. Mclaren is going to be given some time. Also the team is still not that great quality. Our left back is terrible. Our right back is brilliant going forward but mediocre defending. Colo is inconsistent. Our defensive mid options are poor and our depth at striker is poor which is a problem because refs have already decided they don't like Mitrovic.

Surely McLaren's tactics can't be blamed for the state that Newcastle is in. He definitely deserves more time to sort things out, plus it's not as if top managers are lining up to work for Ashley.

It would be a bit harsh to fire him this early.
Rodgers, however, has had his chances.
