Thread: The cars and bikes thread!

I have never done that (never had the need to really either) cos you'll just get some jobsworth slapping a ticket on it regardless of being legal, they just can't think out of the box.

    I've been driving these since 2002 !, I've had a 599 turbo first, then a 698 turbo, then another 698 turbo, then a 999 NA, then a 799 (diesel turbo), and now a 898 turbo

I like me turbo like innit

I enjoy turning, too (my daily is an M5). But I do enjoy straight line fun.

    I haven't drag raced this in years, but it ran 6.2@116.9 1/8 & 9.7@147 1/4.

More recently I've toured on it. Coast to coast and many places in between, including an iron butt from Austin, TX to Frederick, MD.

Is it, by any chance, one of the rare 6MT E60 M5s?

It's the perfect color combo, but it's an SMG.

The M5 is a serious piece of kit!

I really dig it and the E60 M5s are really cheap. I barely paid over $30k USD for mine 3+ yrs ago. They're easy to own if you do most of the maintenance yourself, too. I'm getting ready to move this one on to the next owner.

What year is the E60? Is it the model before the crazy central info system?
