    Beer can get expensive in Philly, but the drinks at Hop Sing and Franklin Mortgage are bananas. Easily can reach 20 - 30 USD. Granted they are delicious, and you are paying for the atmosphere (Especially at Hop Sing), but that's a lot of money for a drink.

    "Beer halls" have been popping up in Brooklyn in the last six or seven years. A quite popular trend. Communal seating, steins and pretzels, hipsters and babies, and of course lots and lots of good beer.
