    In my wife's case it is definitely a step back. She has more than a few decent mechanicals. Her collection is kind of impressive, at least to a Radoiste, so going for cheap and cheerful is all right. I think the fun of them appeals to her sense of whimsy.

    I like that. If I was being fussy, I could focus on the crammed-in text at the bottom, but that would be watch enthusiast obsessive - particularly of the male variety.
