Of all my watches, that was the one which when I took it out of the box I went, "well **** me, will you jus' look at th.....jeeeeez. Woah. YUM."

And then I checked the dial VERY carefully because on something that pretty flaws will stick out a mile.

BTW I think it might be, er, "heavily influenced" by a JLC, but I forget which. I only saw the JLC after I got this, so I'm not fussed

It makes me happy because everything is very close to What I Really Like, but there's enough variety to keep me entertained.

Case 39mm, low profile very comfortable. The dial is totally enchanting in a way that my photographs have never once managed to capture.

This watch suddenly decided it was going to be sold and lo it came to pass (thank you IWL Sales Forum)

Its replacement is en route from Singapore (I think)

Are you going to wear it on the factory strap or have you something lined up?

The strap I had on it changed colour enormously, which was disappointing. Started off rich, which brought the blue out. The factory strap, iirc, really does bring out the blue. I think the first time I saw one (belonging to Colin63) it was on the factory strap.

The new year will start with a proper post on this, which I found awaiting my return just now

To my relief, I've discovered the lugs are 18mm, not 19mm on my other 37mm Seiko. Hurrah! The bracelet has already been taken off. I think a rich mid brown croc-u-like it what I need....

Haven't worked out how to take decent pictures of this one yet. Very odd!

Silver dials are difficult to capture, yours looks great.
