Costa, most of Chelsea's defense, Matic and De Gea would be my some of my top choices for my dream team out of EPL players

I still don't think Arsenal is as strong a team as Chelsea. I think in terms of talent Chelsea still has the best starting roster. Their defense is probably the best. Matic is the best defensive midfielder in the EPL. Hazard is one of the best players in the league and Costa is one of the best strikers (a lot better then Giroud). I'd say only Aguero is better. Also they have one of the two or three best goalkeepers in the league. Honestly if I was picking players from the the top four only, Arsenal would probably be the team I'd take the fewest players from Sanchez and Ramsey. They have a lot of attacking midfielders, a good goalie and a passable defense. I still think Arsenal can push Chelsea hardest unless Man City sorts out it's defensive problems.

Costa is a better striker than Remy, but I don't like how dirty he is, and therefore, I wouldn't want him on my team. Don't care how good he is. I'd say he's the third best striker in the league, behind Aguero and Sturridge, but my metric wasn't purely talent. It's a way of playing and an attitude. I actually am surprised by my own post...I can't believe I put Oscar on the list, since he dives so much. I'd probably take him off, even though he is very talented.

Frankly, I forgot about Matic and think that Mignolet is good enough (though I admit Courtois is better), so we don't need him. Same with De Gea. Better, but Mignolet is good enough that I don't care. Same with Hart, even though I included him for some reason. I don't rate Cahill and Terry as highly as some, but I wouldn't mind Cahill as a defender. He's a good old school player. But I'd rather have Koscielny; he'll cost you the odd penalty and red card, but his recovery speed is excellent. Imagine him paired with a defender who could actually run. And we only need one defender.

I didn't actually think about every player on all those teams, it was just a quick thought, which is why I missed Matic. He's probably the best DM in the Prem right now. But then again, if Lucas actually played, I think he's good enough at the defensive part of the game to make a big enough difference to the defense.

I'm no big fan of Januzaj, and were it not deflected it would probably have been saved, but that was a good showing of skill.

    This is surreal, Raza!
The match is happening 2 miles up the road, and (as I'm not paying close attention) I'm getting updates via Philadelphia
    :-)

love the underdog and regularly bet on them [for the odds ] did so with Athletico Bilbao tonight and they hammered Barca4-0 ! incredible - odds were 15/2 - barca were 2/7

btw no way that United on this showing are going to do anything special this season - Villa were clearly robbed of a penalty - the player Darmian is going to be a liability without question - Rooney was rubbish - and they won it with a deflected goal -no cause for celebration by even the most ardent deluded Red
it has to be said also that Januzaij truly took his goal like a guy that hasn't scored since April 2014 - had to smile that van Gaal descibed it as a fantastic goal - it wasn't -it was just a great pass from Mata

Not really. Villa outplayed United for a good portion of the match, but lacked a finishing touch. Were it not for one bit of skill and a lucky deflection, it would have been a nil-nil draw.
