I've got. Screw loose!
So, I mentioned that the new OP wasn't keeping the best of time. I decided to get it regulated as it would bug me, so I dropped it into the service centre in Kent today. Glad I did, as it turns out it isn't just a case of regulating it. It has something loose in the mechanism. As loose screw, as the service document describes it!
As it's so new it will be looked at quickly, fixed, serviced and regulated....
Still, means the Sub's got a little wrist space for a while again!
