absolutely. its also a bit painful when u realise how much it all adds up to...
i also use it to track serials/production years and will probably add in a column to know when something might need servicing

fav column however is MRSP vs actual paid price

I really like solid bezels on blue watches and the red second hand just pops!

    Hi Mikey.
I just had the opportunity to try on 3 yacht masters.
Would you be kind enough to share your thoughts on the blue vs platinum dial.
    Cheers Mark

I tried on the plat dial once, albeit the older version...walked out with it on the wrist and walked back in to change to a 16613lb.
I had a gold dialed 2t ym 16623 yet couldn't get the blue out of my mind and eventually traded up for it...that should speak volumew

Assuming its the modern reference for the plat version, they both have the same longer curved down lug, the thinner caseback, that awesome new bracelet. It comes down to the subtle speckled plat dial that looks matte-ish for the most part but surprises u oftentimes (like a GS) vs a sunburst blue dial that 'changes' in intensity in different lighting, making u search for angles to check it out.

The plat dial makes for a low key wearing experience..it wears smaller and really seems to bring out the numerals on the bezel more. The blue version brings out the bling of the polished case and the pcl more. Ones more tooly and ones more jewellery.

    Whats your pick?

Thanks for your answer . I think I need to try both again preferably in better light. I would like to see how sunlight catches both.
The platinum textured dial comes across as nicely understated, the red hand pops nicely on the blue.
So not near any decision yet.

Wow, that's a true beauty! I've always liked the pics of the blue Yachtmaster - never have seen it in person, though. Huge congrats!
