That's a pretty artsy presentation for a jambalaya. My homemade version usually looks like a delicious bowl of orange glop. :-)
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Ha ha, that made me laugh.

Early on I let the pan start to boil a bit too fast, so the yokes weren't quite as veiled as yesterday. Still ruddy delicious. I managed to scoff them slightly slower than yesterday....slightly.
Your delicious eggs are an optical illusion. Or maybe it's the plate. Like this.

This classic Italian American dish might not look like much, but sausage peppers done properly transcends the humble ingredients.

Italian sausages, in this case chicken, are sauteed with sweet and hot peppers, onions and garlic in a red wine and balsamic vinegar sauce. Fresh greens are provided by a couple of varieties of basil and arugula and the bread is a nice firm ciabatta loaf.

Mmm...had a raw beef dish (not like a traditional tartare, it was served flattened instead of cubed), lamb, and an awesome lemon posset for dinner last night. No pictures, since the people I was with and I have a policy not to use cell phones during dinner (we only get together once or twice a year). I'm off to dinner again tonight, but if I recall correctly and if it hasn't changed, this place is so dark I'll be barely able to see my food, let alone photograph it.
