    new arrival: what the heck happened??

    what is it?

    i already have a subC, you are all supposed to say a 16600 is redundant, that I already got a JR on the way etc etc...
    heck, I don't even like HEVs...Todd's Aegir was the first crack I suppose.
    anyways, mentioned to my local guy I am talking to coupla of enablers about a 16600, bastard shows up today with a
    2005 F serial 16600T.
    The chip on the crystal at 2 is the caveat in me getting a steal on this. Figure since I ain't gonna be deep diving anytime it will be ok.



    after the 114060, definitely can appreciate the balance in design of the older lugs

    aluminum bezel makes it more toolish

    yet blingy under different lights

    such a looker


    sits great on the wrist despite the thicker caseback

    bracelet super comfy of course



    put it on the curved end hirsch

    was contemplating the 22mm from jason

    probably will go back on the bracelet soon enough



    matt's right, there is a place for both in a collection

    The SeaDweller 16600. That might very well be my favorite watch. Amazing design. Amazing history. A super submariner designed and purpose built to survive the rigors of SeaLab and Comex. The date without the cyclops is an added appealing touch. I honestly can't think of a better watch (at least for me). I'm more than a little jealous...
