The first one I bought was this Agat stopwatch that I got for work in 1999 (now readily available from aviation suppliers, but I dug this out of a quiet ebay corner for £13)

I'd wanted a Poljot Aviator since seeing them in flying magazines in the 90s, so this was my first WIS watch in 2012, and the start of my Soviet watch mania

Incidentally, it was invaluable to have seen the state of the Russian watch market around the millennium - coming back there were suddenly many 'vintage' styles that hadn't existed before, lol.
It helped get my eye in for frankens :-)
