Anyway, I went over to my bosses for burgers etc... last night so I was going to bring over snacks/appetizers. I've never made burnt ends before so I decided to try some. Started with country style ribs made from pork shoulder as they would cook faster and I didn't have to start at 4 in the morning. So I rubbed them down and smoked them with an apple/mesquite mixture. No pics of these, sorry. To make sure they were firm enough to cut I pulled them when they got to around 170 and cubed them. Into a pan with more rub and some homemade BBQ sauce (as I don't use a lot of BBQ sauce on my meat I'm still working on this recipe).

While the ribs were cooking I was working on some bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños. Blend some cream cheese, cheddar and mozzarella, fill a halved jalapeño and wrap it in bacon.

Next try to fit it all on the egg.

    Sorry, no after pics.
Funny, I'd reverse the comments on raw fish (Ewww!) and McDonalds (Yay! At least for breakfast). But then I have an odd aversion to any seafood.

What you made looks awesome. Need to make some of those bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, sounds easy and great!

I'll give you the MceeD's breakfast, I just don't ever take the time to stop by. I usually eat kolaches (or one pop tart) when I take the time and have something other than coffee.

I'm not a big seafood eater myself, and I don't like fried fish at all. So only raw or grilled for me.

You should make those poppers, they are so easy and taste great. You can even do them in the oven, but I'd make sure they aren't directly on a pan as the bacon grease will collect and make them soggy, that's why I prefer the grill.

I have to say, faced with a Big Mac meal or a plate or sushi I'd probably take the burger 9 times out of 10

Since all fish and seafood tastes exactly the same to me (utterly repulsive) (yes my loss, I know) I'll take the Big Mac any time.

But I'm glad I don't eat seafood because of the horrible risks of food poisoning. I once took a friend who had given me advice which saved me £3,000 out to dinner at a very highly respected restaurant in the City called St John. I had been taken there myself a couple of times and was blown away by the offal (sweetbreads are amazing) I can't remember what her seafood starter was, but she had food poisoning before we even had paid the bill.
